Mumbai Meri Jaan
We had tied up with Magic Bus and Avasara Leadership Fellows, and had organized a field trip for 32 underprivileged children, to give them an opportunity to show off or polish their photography skills and creativity. This initiative gave them the opportunity to meet the star photographer Atul Kasbekar and get his valuable insights and tips on photography. After this, the students were taken on a tour of Mumbai, where they were gifted a camera each, to capture the images that inspired them.
More than 1200 people changed their lives after attending this camp. Around 100 eye operations were conducted. And a hospital was assigned to follow up with the patients in the following days. Patients were provided with meals during all the three days of the camp. Also they were given a pouch with 3 different eye drops and black glasses for protecting their eyes after the treatment.
